Susan Fitzgerald normally wears black scrubs. But the TODAY Show selected her for a total transformation. Check out the video.

NEW YORK — NBC's TODAY Show received plenty of deserving candidates when the program asked viewers to nominate moms in their lives for a Mother's Day makeover. But ultimately, a physician assistant for a Cherry Hill medical practice stood out and received the nod.
Susan Fitzgerald — nominated by her mother, Rosemary Fitzgerald — works at the Cooper Neurological Institute. When Susan was 38, she surprised everyone by announcing she'd become a single mom by choice, Rosemary said.
Normally wearing black scrubs, Susan Fitzgerald tends to put her energy toward her children, her mother says. That made her a perfect candidate for the Mother's Day makeover.
