2-Hour Delay For Cherry Hill Schools With Winter Storm Predicted
Township government offices will also have delayed openings.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill schools will delay openings by 2 hours on Thursday, when forecasters expect a winter storm of mixed precipitation.
The Cherry Hill School District will operate on the following schedule:
- High school: 9:30 a.m.
- Middle school: 10 a.m.
- Elementary school: 11 a.m.
- Preschool: 11:30 a.m.
- School-Age Child Care (SACC): morning session from 9-10:45 a.m. and regular afternoon hours.
Cherry Hill Township's government offices will open at 10 a.m.

Public Works crews will begin treating the roads Wednesday night.
Forecasters expect up to an inch of overnight snow that will change over to rain, freezing rain and sleet in the morning.

Here's the National Weather Service's latest forecast for Cherry Hill:
- Wednesday night: Snow before 3 a.m., then snow and sleet. Low around 29. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.
- Thursday: Rain, freezing rain, and sleet, becoming all rain after 9 a.m. High near 41. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
- Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
