Increased Security At Cinnaminson Schools After Texas Tragedy
Gov. Murphy has tweeted that there is 'no credible threat' in New Jersey.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — A local police department said it will increase its patrols "in and around" schools in the wake of the school shooting in Texas that left 19 children and two adults dead.
"The Cinnaminson Township Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our children and school staff," Cinnaminson Police Chief Rich Calabrese said. "For the remainder of the school year, our officers will have an increased visibility in and around all of our schools."
He urged anyone who sees "suspicious activity" around any school or within the community to contact 911 immediately.

Gov. Phil Murphy tweeted Tuesday night that there are "no credible threats" in New Jersey.
Even so, in Garden State communities where the New Jersey State Police is the primary law enforcement agency, troopers will ramp up their patrols around schools, acting Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
