Cinnaminson's fifth grade girls travel basketball team won the Inter-County Basketball League Championship (ICBL) on Wednesday, defeating Haddonfield 21-16.
The multi-county league is the premier girls basketball league in South Jersey. During the regular season, Cinnaminson went 11-5 and earned the third seed in the 10-team tournament. The team achieved victories against Haddon Township and Moorestown in the first round and semifinals the two previous nights prior to the final against Haddonfield.
The team consists of all Cinnaminson residents: Sophia Cross, Emma Karch, Kaitlyn Kane, Grace LePage, Payton MacNair, Rachel Wixted, Kayla Decker, Grace Frasso, Emily Mulligan, Amy Mulholland and Allison Okomsky. The team is coached by assistant coach Randy MacNair and head coach Bob LePage.
