Broken Pole Strikes Elementary School In Burlington Co.

No one was injured, officials said.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A light pole fell down and struck an elementary school Thursday in Mount Holly, officials said.

The pole broke and hit the rear of Gertrude C. Folwell in Mount Holly. A photo posted by Mount Holly Fire District No. 1 shows the pole broke a window on the second floor.

No one was injured, and parents have been notified of the incident, officials said.

The Folwell School teaches students from second through fourth grade in the Mount Holly School District.
