Cannabis Dispensary May Come To Cinnaminson After All
Meanwhile, another cannabis company may discuss establishing its third location in Burlington County with state officials on Friday.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — Twisted Joint, a company Cinnaminson previously said withdrew its application to set up shop in the township, may be reconsidering.
Twisted Joint was scheduled to present to Cinnaminson Township's Zoning Board on Aug. 3 to provide details of its proposed cannabis retail store at 2401 U.S. Highway 130, according to a public meeting notice.
However, the company "withdrew their application and, subsequently, the application was not heard by the zoning board," Cinnaminson Township Administrator Eric Schubiger told Patch on Aug. 23.

Patch's attempts to reach Twisted Joint have been unsuccessful to date.

In another part of Burlington County, Mark Siegle, Bordentown Township's Director of Community Development, said Curaleaf had received preliminary and final major site plan approval for an expanded alternative treatment center in that township.
"On or around July 21, 2022, [Curaleaf] had completed its post-approval conditions which would allow them to operate as such subject to approval from the Cannabis Regulatory Commission," Siegle told Patch.
"It is our understanding that they are on the [Cannabis Regulatory Commission] agenda for Sept. 9, 2022, at 1 p.m. [and] it is anticipated that once approved by the [Cannabis Regulatory Commission] they would be allowed to operate as an expanded alternative treatment center," Siegle continued.
Curaleaf, when asked questions about its application and its Sept. 9 appearance before the Cannabis Regulatory Commission, told Patch that "unfortunately, Curaleaf does not have a comment on this right now."
Curaleaf already sells recreational marijuana at locations in Edgewater Park and Bellmawr.
New Jersey residents have been able to purchase marijuana for recreational purposes since April 21.
