Chick-Fil-A Construction In Cinnaminson To Begin Soon
The restaurant is at the center of a redevelopment project on Route 130.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Construction is slated to begin soon on Cinnaminson's Chick-fil-A restaurant that's been years in the making.
Barring any delays, construction of the Route 130 eatery will begin in late January, a Chick-fil-A spokesperson told Patch.
It's expected to open in the late summer.

Chick-fil-A will be located on a long-inactive stretch of Route 130 that Cinnaminson officials have wanted to redevelop for more than a decade. The lot will feature a 2,656-square-foot restaurant with drive-thru lanes, along with a 6,800-square-foot building for unspecified retail, according to plans the township approved in 2022.
But two years of legal disputes had delayed those plans.

When the plan was approved, the redevelopment site included properties owned by two different entities. The developer, CFA Cinnaminson, struggled to obtain the lots with two vacant homes in disrepair.
Those properties were owned by the same person and registered under two businesses with no clear functions. In late 2023, a trial court allowed the township to seize the vacant properties by eminent domain — only for an appeals court to reverse the decision a few months later, leaving the project in limbo.
But as of last summer, the developer and the other property owner resolved their differences, allowing the redevelopment to move forward.
The project broke ground late last year.
Chick-fil-A will be on Route 130 South, just ahead of the entrance to The Cinnaminson Shoppes.
