Chick-Fil-A In Delran To Reopen After Months Of Renovations

The restaurant will return with a celebration after closing in March for remodeling.

DELRAN, NJ — After months of remodeling, the revamped Chick-fil-A in Delran is about to hatch.

The restaurant will hold a grand reopening on Wednesday. A ribbon-cutting will take place at noon, followed by gift basket raffles, prize giveaways and face painting until 2 p.m.

It's not uncommon for the chicken chain to temporarily close restaurants for remodeling. The typical lifespan of a freestanding Chick-fil-A eatery is 30 years. Within that timeframe, each location usually receives at least one full-scale renovation that requires an interior and exterior overhaul, the company says.

Changes vary by restaurant but can include enhanced kitchen designs and the addition of a second drive-thru lane.
