Competing Tickets Running For Cinnaminson School Board: See Who's In The Race

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Two sets of candidates filed to run for Cinnaminson's Board of Education.

Overall, six candidates are running for three available seats in the election, which is Nov. 4. The two board members vying for re-election — Michael Bramhall and Eileen Bleistine — are running on separate tickets.

School board elections are nonpartisan, but candidates can indicate that they're campaigning together by putting identical slogans next to their names on the ballot.

Bramhall is on the "Listening. Learning. Leading." ticket with Robert McGough and Mary Tadley.

Bleistine is running with Edyta Poplawski and Daniel Pascal under the "Integrity Transparency Accountability" slogan.

Board Member Katherine Bleistine didn't file to run for re-election.

Last year, Eileen Bleistine was elected as part of a challenger ticket that ousted two board members. She was running for a partial term that expires at the end of this year.

Bleistine and her running mates ran under the "Every Voice Matters" slogan, which also featured successful candidates Donna M. Iacone and Jennifer Falconiero. Poplawski was the only member of the ticket who wasn't elected.

Last year, Bramhall endorsed three of his fellow board members in the race. Board President Laura Fitzwater was the only incumbent candidate to retain her seat.

The school board has nine seats.
