Cinnaminson Coffee Hub To Launch New Coffee, Cookie Bar

SEWELL, NJ — A Cinnaminson coffee roaster and a South Jersey dessert business plan to launch a coffee and cookie "bar" at a pizzeria in Sewell.

The Blended Joe Coffee & Cookie Bar will combine two local favorites: specialty coffee hub Blended Joe and The Cookie Basket, a dessert shop known for its custom-designed cookies and treat-filled gift baskets.

They plan to open by January, according to a joint social media announcement.

Founded in 2018, Blended Joe is a specialty coffee roaster and retailer. The Cinnaminson-based business touts custom blends and flavored coffees, only roasting in small batches to ensure consistency.

The Cookie Basket, based in National Park, offers custom-designed cookies and other specialty treats, while also hosting traveling tea parties and other events. Both businesses began collaborating a month ago, with Blended Joe providing coffee for The Cookie Basket's gift baskets and events.

The Coffee & Cookie Bar will have a service counter inside Pizza Tower, making the pizzeria a one-stop shop for pizza, coffee and desserts. A sneak peek of the menu will be available at Pizza Tower on Small Business Saturday.

Pizza Tower is located at 745 Woodbury-Glassboro Rd., Sewell.
