What sets you apart from the other candidates?
What really sets me apart from the other candidates is how deeply connected I am to this community. I grew up here, so I understand the values, traditions, and challenges that make our town unique. Now, as a parent with three young kids in our schools, I see firsthand what’s working well and where we can do better. That perspective keeps me grounded and relatable. I’m living the same experiences as many families in our community. Along with my education background, which helps me think critically and problem-solve effectively, my lifelong love for this town motivates me to make thoughtful, positive decisions that truly serve our students and families.
What past accomplishments or experiences make you qualified for this position?
As a lifelong educator, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this position. Over the years, I’ve served as a teacher, assistant principal, and now as a principal, giving me a well-rounded understanding of how schools operate at every level. Each day, I collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to ensure we’re always doing what’s best for kids. I have extensive experience in curriculum development, data analysis to drive instruction, and implementing state initiatives effectively. This is the work I’m passionate about and do every day. I’m eager to bring that expertise and dedication to serve the Cinnaminson community.
If elected, what will be your top priorities during your elected term?
If elected, one of my top priorities will be to help address the growing space issue in our town. As more families move to Cinnaminson for our excellent schools, we need to plan thoughtfully to accommodate our increasing student population while maintaining the quality of education our community expects. I want to be actively involved in those discussions and work collaboratively toward sustainable solutions.
Another important priority is supporting our special education programs. Throughout this campaign, I’ve heard from many parents and community members who have shared their concerns and experiences. I want to listen, learn more about their specific needs, and work with the district to identify areas for improvement and ensure every child receives the support they deserve.
Lastly, I believe it’s essential to review our recent test scores and continue conversations about how we can keep moving student achievement in a positive direction. My goal is to help build on the great work already happening in our schools and ensure that every decision we make benefits our students and community as a whole.
