Why are you running for school board?
It has been my honor and privilege to serve on the school board for the last seven years. As a father of five children who have either graduated or are currently attending Cinnaminson schools, I am passionate about the quality of education that they receive. My wife and I moved our family to Cinnaminson 20 years ago because we wanted our children to attend Cinnaminson schools. I want to continue to work to make the Cinnaminson School District the best bistrict.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?
What sets me apart from the other candidates is my background. I come from a family of educators, but I am an attorney. As a lawyer that focuses my career on contract and construction law, I bring knowledge and expertise that no other candidate has and would be a valuable resource to the school district.
What past accomplishments or experiences make you qualified for this position?
As a current board member, I bring my experience from the last seven years. I can share my experiences with new school board members. I can provide needed stability to the board. Over the years, I have served in other volunteer leadership roles both professionally and in the community. In these service roles, I have developed the ability to listen to people, learn what needs to be done, and then help lead the group.
If elected, what will be your top priorities during your elected term?
If elected, my first priority is to continue to address the shortage of classroom space in our district. Cinnaminson is a place where people want to send their children to school, and our school population continues to grow. As a district, we recently expanded our kindergarten and preschool programs for Cinnaminson families. This year, we reopened the Memorial School to address our increased enrollment. Renovations and additional classroom space need to be constructed to ensure that every student has the opportunity to attend school in a safe and healthy environment.
