Cinnaminson Students Recognized for Achievements
The state championship-winning Pirates were among the students honored by the board of education Tuesday.
The Cinnaminson Board of Education honored the district's most exceptional students Tuesday, beginning with the newly crowned state championship-winning boys baseball team.
Head coach Kevin Merrill spread the praise around before handing out certificates to the entire team—thanking the fans, the faculty, his fellow coaches and, most importantly, his players for the historic win.
"It was a truly awesome experience," said Merrill. "I absolutely couldn’t do it without my fellow coaches … And the players were just remarkable. They just refused to lose. I’m blessed to have them."
