“Mr. McNamara is an easy pick for this award as he represents all of the things we look for in an educator of the year,” Cinnaminson Township Public Schools said in a statement. “He is a master of his craft. He is charismatic in the classroom and has an incredible gift for working with students.”

“What sets Mr. McNamara apart is his ability to connect with individual students in his classroom,” the school district added. “They know he is authentically interested in who they are as a person in addition to who they are as a student.
