BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Burlington County will be under a Code Blue Weather Emergency from 7 p.m. Monday night until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, county officials announced.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 32 and 33 degrees on Monday and Tuesday nights, respectively, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will increase but remain cold the rest of the week.
“Temperatures are dropping, so we’re encouraging all those in need of help to reach out,” Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson said. “Our Code Blue sheltering program is ready, and we don’t want anyone to have to spend the night outdoors or in unsafe conditions.”
