NEW JERSEY — The full slate of Democratic incumbents has been re-elected to the statehouse in New Jersey’s 7th Legislative District, according to The Associated Press.

Herb Conaway and Carol Murphy defeated Republican challengers Douglas Dillon and Joseph Jesuelea in the district’s Assembly races, The Associated Press projected Thursday morning.

Conaway and Murphy join Democrat Troy Singleton, whose victory over Michelle Arnold in the state senate race was projected Wednesday night, in a return to the legislature. Read more here: Troy Singleton Re-Elected To NJ Senate: AP

Conaway was the leading vote-getter in the Assembly race, collecting 41,863 votes. Murphy won with 41,361 votes. Dillon had 27,237 votes, and Jesuelea had 26,807 votes.

New Jersey's 7th Legislative District spans the Burlington County towns of Beverly City, Bordentown City, Bordentown Township, Burlington City, Burlington Township, Cinnaminson Township, Delanco Township, Delran Township, Edgewater Park Township, Fieldsboro Borough, Florence Township, Moorestown Township, Mount Laurel Township, Palmyra Borough, Riverside Township, Riverton Borough and Willingboro Township.
