Coyote Sightings Reported Near U.S. Route 130 In Burlington County

EDGEWATER PARK, NJ — A brown coyote was recently spotted several times in the area of South Garden Boulevard in Edgewater Park, that municipality's police department said.

That location is about one mile from Popeye's Lousiana Kitchen and Goodwill Store Donation Center along U.S. Route 130.

The Edgewater Park Police Department was warning residents of the municipality who see the coyote to leave it alone.

The police department also advised anyone who sees the animal to make lots of noise or throw things near it so it gets scared away.

In addition, the Edgewater Park Police Department advised residents with pets to feed their animals indoors, bring them in at night and keep their pets away from the coyote.
