Cinnaminson will officially dedicate Belleview Avenue in the name of Reverend Dr. Alvin A. Jackson during a special ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 6 to remember the late pastor, who passed away in January at age 92.

According to a release from St. Paul Baptist Church, Jackson has the distinction of having served as the pastor of a single church longer than any other minister in the country. He was pastor at St. Paul for 63 years.

The street dedication will be preceded on Saturday, Oct. 5, by the church's first-ever Community Day. The purpose of the event is to foster unity, bringing together people from all walks of life and ages, united in uplifting the community in which they live.

The event will start at noon and will encompass the area along the River Line from Belleview and Bannard streets to Union Landing Road, and will include health awareness booths, information regarding social services, fun and games, food, and much more.

Vendors are welcome. Contact the church at 856-829-4552 or stpaulcinna@spbccnj.org if you're interested in participating.
