Essays By South Jersey Students Appear In National Journal
The essays were chosen from 150 that were submitted from across the United States, the school's director said.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — Three Westfield Friends School students found out last week that essays they wrote will appear in a nationally distributed journal, the school's director said.
Essays by sixth graders Imogene Urbano of Cinnaminson, Isaiah Bull of Lumberton and Heidi Jacobs of Haddonfield on climate activism and sustainability appeared along with essays of nine other students in the May edition of Friends Journal, School Director Margaret Haviland told Patch.
The Westfield Friends School students' essays were selected from among 150 that were submitted nationwide, she said.
