'Fierce' House Fire Hospitalizes 3 In Burlington Co.
When first responders arrived, heavy flames were engulfing the rear of the home and had spread to the basement and attic.
RIVERSIDE, NJ — A fast-moving house fire hospitalized three people and displaced residents Saturday in Burlington County, officials said.
The "fierce blaze" emerged around 4 a.m. on the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue in Riverside, according to Riverside Fire Company No. 1.
When first responders arrived, heavy flames engulfed the rear of the home and had already spread into the attic and basement.

A second alarm was called to bring in additional firefighters, who prevented the fire from spreading to other homes.
Three adults were brought to the hospital. Officials did not know their conditions.
