Girl Scouts To Hold Mega Recruiting Day At Cinnaminson ShopRite

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Girl Scouts will hold a Mega Recruitment Day event at the ShopRite of Cinnaminson on Aug. 14, the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey announced.

“Girl Scouts’ mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place,” the Girl Scouts said in the announcement. “Now more than ever, girls need Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts earn badges, explore the great outdoors, try STEM activities, learn about financial literacy, practice entrepreneurship, engage in community service, build friendships and bonds to last a lifetime, and so much more.”

The goal of the Mega Recruitment Day is to encourage girls ages 5 to 18 to get involved with Girl Scouts. Businesses throughout Central and Southern New Jersey will serve as recruitment sites where girls and parents can learn more about the Girl Scout experience and how to get involved.

Girl scouts will be recruiting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Cinnaminson ShopRite, 141 Route 130 South, Suite K, Cinnaminson, NJ, 08077. The following locations will also serve as recruitment sites in Burlington County:
