A Camden man wound up getting himself arrested after he rolled up to a traffic stop to let Palmyra Police know he was the owner of the vehicle they'd stopped, according to a report.Police said they stopped a vehicle on Route 73 South near Koz's BMW for an equipment violation on Sept. 17. As the officer was dealing with the driver, a man riding a motorcycle pulled up to the stop and told the officer he was the owner of the vehicle that was stopped.The officer obtained identification from both drivers and quickly ascertained that the motorcyclist—identified as Jahid Williams, 21—had three outstanding warrants for his arrest: a Deptford warrant for $1,836, a Camden warrant in the amount of $350, and a no-bail warrant from the Delaware River Port Authority, according to a report.After Williams was arrested, the officer found he also had a vial of suspected marijuana on him.Williams was charged with possession of marijuana and turned over to the Delaware River Port Authority on its warrant.Information provided by Palmyra Police.
