Musical Performances, Supermoon Highlight Week Ahead
Get the scoop on what's coming up this week in and around Cinnaminson.

Expect cooler weather this week after last week's excruciating heat wave. Temperatures are expected to hover in the mid-80s all week, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms every day.The wet weather should bring some measure of relief from the heat. Unfortunately, the stormy forecast could also obscure the supermoon—when the moon approaches Earth at the closest point during a new or full moon—Monday night.
Keep your fingers crossed the weather cooperates Thursday night, as Sexy Sadie, a Beatles tribute band, is scheduled to perform at Wood Park for another of Cinnaminson's free outdoor summer concerts. After rain and heat drove the first two concerts of the season indoors, the Manhattan Dolls came out last Thursday for an entertaining performance.
If you're looking for more music, stop by Curran's Irish Inn in Palmyra Friday night for a performance by local group The Second Time Around Band. The band didn't list much information in their event posting, but you can find out a little bit more about the group on their Facebook page.
And if you're shopping for local produce this week, don't forget to stop by either Hunter's Farm and Market on Union Landing Road or the Delran farmers market, held 4-8 p.m. every Tuesday at the township municipal building. (FYI: Due to popular demand, the township just extended the season through the end of September.) South Jersey offers a bounty of farmers markets each year. Check out this list of all the markets in the area for more information.
