New Hot Pot, Korean BBQ Restaurant Opens In Burlington County
Top Pot, an all-you-can-eat establishment, has several eateries around the East Coast and just expanded into New Jersey.

DELRAN, NJ — The wait is over for a new restaurant serving hot pot and Korean delicacies. Top Pot & Korean BBQ held its soft opening Saturday in Delran.
Top Pot offers both Korean cuisine and the Chinese cooking method of hot pot. Diners at the all-you-can-eat establishment can receive one or the other, or both.
Hot pot is prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, with a variety of East Asian foodstuffs and ingredients for patrons to place into the hot stock. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leaf vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, tofu and seafood, according to Top Pot.

The Korean-style barbecue centers around an array of proteins. While Top Pot says pork and beef are the most common in Korean cuisine, the restaurant also offers additional selections such as chicken, seafood and vegetables.
"Depending on the cut, meats are prepared lightly seasoned or flavorfully marinated to be grilled at your table," Top Pot's website says. "Served with an array of side dishes made of vegetables (banchan in Korean) to complement the proteins, your meal will be well rounded with a bowl of rice."

Founded in 2010, Top Pot has three locations around the East Coast, including a Philadelphia restaurant. The Delran opening was long-anticipated — South Jersey Food Scene reported last January on the restaurant's plans to expand into the township.
The Delran location is Top Pot's first in New Jersey, with a Princeton establishment also in the works.
The new restaurant is located in the Hartford Corners shopping complex at 1311 Fairview Blvd., Unit 14, Delran. View the full menu.
