Search Follows Deadly Shooting At Burlington County Apartment
Police believe Ezekiel Sanders Jr. was shot by people who were in a car that sped off after the shooting at Fox Meadow in Maple Shade.
MAPLE SHADE, NJ — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Burlington County apartment complex over the weekend, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Maple Shade Police Chief Christopher J. Fletcher announced.
Police believe Ezekiel Sanders Jr. was shot by people who were in a car that sped off after the shooting at the Fox Meadow apartment complex at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Maple Shade police responded to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired. They found Sanders suffering from a gunshot wound on Gardenia Drive, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Maple Shade Police Chief Christopher J. Fletcher.

Sanders was taken by ambulance to Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill, where he was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m., according to authorities.
