Shanghai Street Food-Inspired Restaurant Chain Expanding To Burlington Co.

The menu features 6 variations of soup dumplings, along with dim sum, wok-prepared noodles and craft cocktails.

DELRAN, NJ — A Shanghai street food-inspired restaurant chain is expanding to Burlington County.

Ugly Dumpling's menu features six variations of soup dumplings, along with dim sum, wok-prepared noodles and craft cocktails. Their signature item is the Xiao Long Bao.

The restaurant chain has 11 locations scattered throughout the East Coast. Nine more are coming soon, including a Delran location, according to Ugly Dumpling's website.

Ugly Dumpling in Delran will be located at 4000 Route 130. An estimated opening hasn't been revealed, but it's set to become South Jersey's first Ugly Dumpling restaurant.

The chain's closest locations — in Edison and Newark, Delaware — are each about 45 miles away.
