'Suspicious' Packages Found In Cinnaminson Deemed Safe: Police

The street was cordoned off as several agencies, including the FBI, investigated the matter.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The FBI was among several agencies investigating "suspicious" packages Monday in Cinnaminson, police said. Authorities determined that no threat was present.

Police responded to a home on Ivystone Lane around 3 p.m. Monday for a report of several suspicious packages. The roadway's 600 block was cordoned off out of an abundance of caution, police said.

No other information about the packages, or why they raised suspicions, was immediately available.

Investigators determined that the items presented no danger to residents or the surrounding area, according to Cinnaminson Police. The roadway is right by the fields at Cinnaminson Middle School.

Cinnaminson Police investigated the matter with the FBI, State Police, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
