Tired of the Heat?

Get all the information you need about your neighborhood pools right here so you can stay cool this summer.

It was definitely pool weather earlier in the week (maybe not so much this weekend), but you'll want this information later. Trust us. 

Local pools are opening for the season this Memorial Day weekend, and we have all the information you need about how to get a membership, what it'll cost you, important pool dates and more—all in one place.

Pheasant Run Swim Club in Cinnaminson opens for the season on Saturday, May 25. The pool will be open Memorial Day weekend from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; 12-8 p.m. Sunday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

The club opens full-time on June 22.

A bonded membership is $600, to be paid in four annual payments of $150 (each year). An August membership is $249 for the entire family and lasts from Aug. 1 through Labor Day. 

Club amenities include a 10-foot waterslide, an enclosed baby pool and playground area and snack bar, with regular activities including volleyball, basketball, air hockey, raft night (6-8 p.m. Thursdays) and special dinners.

Pomona Swim Club in Cinnaminson opens for the season Saturday, May 25, and will be open weekends from 12-9:30 p.m. The club opens full-time on Wednesday, June 19.

To belong to the club, you must purchase a bond for $450 and pay seasonal dues of $460. The guest fee is $4 per day. Check out the attached PDF for membership information.

In an email to Patch, club vice president Kevin O'Connor wrote, "It's hard to believe Pomona Swim Club has been there since 1960. Generations of families have been members and there are still a few original members loyally paying their dues every year."

In addition to the main pool, the club also features two heated baby/toddler pools, picnic tables, grills, bocce ball court, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, basketball courts and a modern playground. There is also a snack bar and many activities throughout the summer.

Sunnybrook Swim Club in Moorestown opens for the season Saturday, May 25. The pool will be open from 12-8:45 p.m. only on weekends until June 21, when daily hours begin.

After June 21, the pool will be open from 12-8:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1-8:45 p.m. Sunday. 

The club features three separate pools; a snack bar and picnic area; two playgrounds; a basketball court; and swim lessons.

There's currently a waiting list for bonded pool memberships, however non-bonded memberships and August memberships are available. Check out the attached PDF for detailed membership information.
