Vietnam Vets Honored During Wall That Heals Ceremony
The wall bears the names of two men from Cinnaminson who were killed during the war.
More than a hundred people turned out to show their respects for Vietnam veterans—both living and deceased—during opening ceremonies for the Wall That Heals Wednesday night.
Guest speakers, including Sen. Diane Allen, Assemblyman Troy Singleton, and Col. Michael Warner—Vietnam veteran and former Fort Dix base commander—spoke during the solemn ceremony.
"We are gathering this evening. And why do we have this wonderful freedom?" said Allen. "Because of those amazing patriots, who have paid the price for our freedom with their blood."

"It is our charge to live our life in a way that honors their sacrifice," Singleton said.
The wall, which arrived Tuesday morning, bears the names of 1,562 New Jersey veterans, including 83 from Burlington County, two from Cinnaminson. They are:

The wall will be on display on the field behind the YMCA on Centerton Road until Sunday. It is open to the public 24/7.
A closing ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.
