Missing Woman Seen Walking Into Woods As Urgent Search Continues In BurlCo
The woman was seen walking near a pond. Police urged nearby residents to send their surveillance footage.
Update: She was found on Tuesday morning and has been re-united with family.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A missing Mount Laurel woman walked into the woods and near a pond after leaving home on Sunday, police said on Monday morning.
Police also shared a photo of Danyila Nykytyn's face as they continue to search for the woman who they say left home Sunday morning without a wallet or cell phone.

Authorities urged nearby residents to pay special attention and send them their surveillance footage as they actively search the area for Nykytyn, who only speaks Ukrainian.

Mount Laurel police provided the following timeline of Nykytyn's disappearance on Monday:
- Nykytyn, 66, walked away from her home. at around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
- At 7:58 a.m. Sunday, she was seen on video up the road on Watson Drive near Nottingham Way.
- At 8:30 a.m. Sunday, a resident saw her walking near a pond and into the woods. The pond is on Watson Drive, just north of Nottingham Way.
- Police went to Nykytyn's home at 3:12 p.m. Sunday, when family couldn't find her.
"If you are traveling on Watson Drive and Nottingham Way is on your left, you will pass by the pond on your right," said the Mount Laurel Police Department.
Watson Drive is closed between Val Drive and Nottingham Road for the investigation, police said via Nixle around 2 p.m. Monday.
Nearby Residents Urged To Keep An Eye Out
Law enforcement, firefighters and township personnel are actively search the area, officials said at 10 a.m. Monday.
Police urged residents on the following streets to pay special attention:
- Watson Drive
- Nottingham Way
- Buckingham Way
- Val Drive
- Farmhouse Lane
- Ann Drive
- Vassar Road
How To Help
Mount Laurel police urged residents on the aforementioned streets and nearby areas to review their surveillance footage and submit it to the department's online portal.
When you send a video, include your street address to help officials track Nykytyn, police said.
"We are requesting that you send video even if your video does not show the missing person," police said. "If you have already given your video to a detective or officer, you do not need to submit it via the portal."
