200-Year-Old Oak Tree Falls, Crushes Two Cars In Union County

Luckily, nobody was injured in Tuesday evening when a massive 200-year-old Oak Tree snapped, fell, and crushed two vehicles parked in a Summit driveway.
“It sounded like an earthquake was happening, the whole house was shaking,” homeowner Seamus McFadden told NBC Philadelphia. “It was pretty intense.”
The Oak Tree also took out a few power lines before landing in the driveway and extending out into the street.

Nobody knows for sure why the tree, located on Shadyside Avenue, fell, but according to CBS Local, its trunk seemed to have been rotted out.
