Affordable Housing Available At Brookside Manor In Clark

CLARK, NJ — There are several affordable housing units available at Brookside Manor in Clark.

Six new rental apartments will be available in the fall/winter of 2022 at Brookside Manor located at 1019-1037 Raritan Road. Residents must join the Clark rental waiting list by Oct. 26 to be included in the random selection.

The 42-unit affordable housing complex was approved by the Clark Planning Board in 2020, according to Tapinto.

The available units include one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The lowest rent is going for a two-bedroom apartment at $565 per month, and the highest rent — which is considered "moderate" — is going for a three-bedroom apartment at $1,548 per month.

Although any income eligible households may apply, residents and workers of Essex, Morris, Union and Warren will be selected before residents of other counties or states.

Each unit includes central air conditioning, a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. These are new apartments that were built in 2022.

Pets that are no heavier than 30 pounds are allowed. Residents must provide a picture and breed of pet. A $600 annual fee is required, and two dogs in one household is the maximum.
