Under the direction of the chief of police, the clerk will process documents, format and type correspondence, prepare weekly blotters and order supplies, equipment and police vehicles. Other duties include obtaining quotes, processing invoices and preparing budget projections related to equipment and supplies. The clerk should have experience in administrative duties and Microsoft Office, as well as exhibit telephone etiquette, cooperation with staff and attention to detail. A "strong commitment" to maintaining strict confidentiality is required, as well as the ability to prioritize and follow up on all correspondence. Does this sound like the perfect fit?
