U.S. SENATE
In the race to represent New Jersey in the U.S. Senate, Republican Joseph Kyrillos of Middletown, NJ separated himself from a pack of hopefuls to challenge incumbent Democrat Robert Menendez.

Kyrillos has been a New Jersey state senator since 1992; Menendez, of North Bergen, NJ has served as a U.S. Senator since 1993.

U.S. CONGRESS – DISTRICT 1
Incumbent Robert Andrews, of Haddon Heights, NJ, steamrolled through the New Jersey Democratic primary election.

Andrews will face Republican Gregory Horton of Haddonfield, who ran unopposed in his party’s primary.

COLLINGSWOOD SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
The 11-member Collingswood Board of Education (BOE) is composed of nine Collingswood residents and one each from its sending districts of Oaklyn and Woodlynne.

This November, voters will select from among five borough residents to fill three three-year terms. Three of the candidates currently serve on the Board.

  • Louis Evangelista (current BOE member)
  • James Hatzell (sitting BOE President)
  • Kathleen McCarthy (current BOE member)
  • Terry Moody
