A Sale-ing We Will Go

The Collingswood townwide yard sale makes it easy for borough residents to do some spring cleaning, pocket a couple of bucks and pass on stuff from one neighbor to another.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., homes around the borough will open their garage doors for the fourth annual townwide yard sale.

With nearly 150 separate locations on the map this year, six hours might not be enough to take it all in. That won't stop deal-hunters from trying today.

The event is organized by the Proud Neighbors of Collingswood, and funds raised by participants support its mission of historic preservation and beautification.

For those not participating in the sale, the organization also accepts donations of collectibles, small furniture, toys, household items and books; no clothing, computers or televisions.
