'Avenue Q' Opens, Mummers Strut

The Collingswood Community Theatre production of Avenue Q kicks off its three-performance run tonight. The shows will run at 7:30 p.m. through Friday at the Scottish Rite Theater.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors; groups of 10 or more can buy them for $13 each. Tickets are available at Borough Hall—or you could find them throughout the shops downtown.

There's also a Summer Mummers concert on Powell Lane in downtown Collingswood. Get there at 7 for the Quaker City String Band, and bring your own chair. Weather permitting.
