Collingswood High School Baseball Team Falls to Cinnaminson in Playoffs
Collingswood's playoff run this year included its first postseason win in 21 years.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Mike Bednarek brought home the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the sixth-seeded Cinnaminson High School baseball team outlasted No. 14 Collingswood, 10-9, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on Thursday, according to nj.com.
Jake Perkins had four RBI for the Pirates, while Mike McAndrews had two RBI and scored three runs. Brandon Staub picked up the win on the mound, pitching two innings in relief.
Cinnaminson took a 7-0 lead after three innings, but the Panthers fought back, trailing 9-3 after four, and tying the game with four runs in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Andrew Phillips had RBI for Collingswood, and Kevin Walters had two.
Had the Panthers pulled off the comeback, it would’ve prolonged playoff journey that began with a 14-6 win over No. 3 Cedar Creek. It was Collingswood’s first playoff win in 21 years.
