COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — The holiday season is not just a time for giving, being grateful and celebrating; it’s also a time for high school basketball. There are a number of tournaments coming up during the holidays, and Collingswood High School is hosting one of them. The boys basketball team will host the Collingswood Tournament on Thursday, Dec. 28, and Friday, Dec. 29.
Collingswood will open its tournament by hosting New Foundation (PA) at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 28. Salem plays Delran in the second game. The championship game is set for Dec. 29, 1 p.m., preceded by the consolation game at 11:30 a.m.
Collingswood enters the tournament with a record of 1-3. Its lone victory was a 51-43 win over Overbrook, according to nj.com. Delran is 1-3, and Salem is 0-3. To view the full boys holiday tournament schedule, visit nj.com.
