Collingswood Krispy Kreme Customer Steals Bike Rack

Watch the video of a man who ordered coffee, doughnuts—and an aluminum bike rack—to go.

For some people, the caffeine rush just isn't enough to rev their engine in the morning.

That's one possible explanation for the brazen, broad-daylight theft of an aluminum bike rack from the Collingswood Krispy Kreme two weeks ago. 

(A likelier one would be that scrap thefts are an ever-present nuisance for local law enforcement.)

According to police, at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 18, a drive-through customer at the shop, which is located in the 1100 block of Haddon Avenue, ordered and paid for a drive-through purchase. 

Then, surveillance video shows, the man exited his truck and helped himself to an aluminum bike rack from the parking lot.

Police are still looking for information that would help identify the driver of the red, two-door, extended-cab Dodge Dakota. He is described as a male of heavy build between 20 and 30 years old.

The bike rack is valued at $1,000.
