Crime & Safety

Collingswood National Night Out: Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The block party brings together families and emergency services personnel from throughout the community.

On Tuesday, Collingswood police, fire, and emergency services workers will treat the borough to a super-duper block party, complete with games, snacks and a chance to shake the hands of those men and women who keep the community safe.

From 6 to 9 p.m., National Night Out in Collingswood will feature carnival games, a chance to check out police cars and fire trucks, and even a swimming demo from Roberts Pool lifeguards.

Not enough? How about a speed pitch machine, mascots, water ice and hot dogs? Or free child IDs and tips on how to safeguard your banking information? It all happens on the corner of Haddon and West Collings Avenues.
