• Collingswood is sued after mayor voted on ambulance deal despite conflict-of-interest warning (inquirer.com) — Collingswood’s ambulance contract with Virtua Health is now in court after Commissioner M. James Maley sued to overturn the deal, arguing Mayor Daniela Solano-Ward should have recused herself because her husband works for Virtua. The three-member commission approved the contract 2–1 on Dec. 1 amid concerns about the fire department’s capacity, and a judge will review the conflict-of-interest claim in January.
