Theft, possession of burglary tools, conspiracy to commit theft
At 3 a.m. on May 17, a resident of the 100 block of Wesley Avenue saw two individuals trying to steal her neighbor’s pick-up truck when she awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.

Thinking quickly, she dialed 911 and provided detailed descriptions of the suspects to the emergency dispatcher, and remained on the line until police arrived. First responders to the scene caught the offenders trying to steal the truck, a 1994 GMC. One suspect was apprehended while attempting to flee.

The two men arrested were Quinn Sadler, 28, and Tyshon Crisdon, 31, both of Camden. The two were in possession of burglary tools, including a slap hammer and a comprehensive set of vehicle keys, as well as eight cell phones, the owners of which police are seeking.

An investigation is underway to determine whether Sadler and Crisdon are linked to attempted thefts of other vehicles on the same day within the area. The two were arrested on charges with third-degree theft, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy to commit theft. They were remanded to the Camden County correctional facility and bail for each was set at $20,000, full cash.

Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
At 10:41 p.m. on June 2, an officer on patrol in the area of Route 130 and the White Horse Pike stopped a bicyclist who was weaving in and out of traffic.

Officers discovered that the cyclist, Dwayne Hird, 32, of Haddon Township, was wanted on a $700, full-cash warrant from the municipal court of Stratford.

They also discovered that Hird was in possession of what they believed to be crack-cocaine. He was arrested and remanded to Camden County correctional facility.

Driving while intoxicated
At 3 a.m. on May 28, officers in the 700 block of Woodlynne Avenue observed a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the roadway and stopped the driver, who was identified as Roberto Dominguez, 30, of Woodlynne.

Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Dominguez’s breath, and performed a roadside sobriety test, which he failed. Dominguez was apprehended and his vehicle impounded. A Breathalyzer test later indicated that his blood-alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.
