Smashy Smashy! Traffic Signal Downed in Downpour

Emergency crews arrived on the scene at Collings Ave. and the White Horse Pike around midnight to clear away a downed traffic signal.

The rumor is it was a tractor-trailer making an illegal U-turn.

Officers on the scene of Collings Avenue and the White Horse Pike couldn't confirm the details, but it seemed like a good guess. Whatever brought down the traffic light at the corner of Collings Avenue and the White Horse Pike around midnight last night, it was big.

Despite a driving rain, were on the scene quickly, and the flow of traffic went on almost uninterrupted.
