"You Park Stupid"

Short on grammar, long on finger-pointing, a new Facebook page is shaming Jersey drivers for their questionable parking skills.

Complaints about parking in Collingswood typically center on its availability (or lack thereof), and not necessarily how well it's executed.

But creep over the line, park in a handicap spot or swing your tail end too far into traffic, and a new Facebook page, "You Park Stupid," might just call you out on that decision.

The page was started by Somerville, NJ, resident John Flores, who was getting ticked off when he kept seeing the same bad parking job while visiting his father at .

"Some days they were parked OK, but most days they were parked awfully," Flores said. "I shared photos on my personal wall and got a lot of friends talking about it. That's when the lightbulb went off and the small group started."

Since then, "You Park Stupid" group members have wagged their fingers at a number of bad drivers, mostly in North Jersey.

Crowdsourcing as a way of shunning bad behavior or blatant ignorance is nothing new; just check out the posts at failblog.org, fmylife.comΒ or damnyouautocorrect.com. But the marriage of bad drivers/parkers and the Garden State just seems too perfect to not catch on, especially judging from some of the comments.

The spotting of a Porsche Cayenne at ShopRite in Bernardsville, NJ, led one reader to quip, "Is it just me or is there a correlation between the price of the vehicle and the lack of ability to park/drive like a member of society?"

You Park Stupid has room for offenders of all tax brackets, however, including Toyota Camrys, Hyundai TibouronsΒ and the recent "If we gave out a 'Dope of the Week' award" award winner, a Volvo that blocked a Mini Cooper in a California parking lot.

Wrote the submitter of that photo, "The guy's passenger was still in the parking lot and asked me, 'Were you parked before us?' I said, 'Yes, I can't get out. How could I have gotten in?'"
