$1.5M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Union County: See Where

HILLSIDE, NJ — A lottery player in Hillside won $1.5 million on a "$3 Win for Life!" scratch-off ticket.

The ticket was sold by the Speedy Mart at 1175 Liberty Ave. and registered on Oct. 15, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The winner is eligible for payments of $5,000 per month for 25 years or a cash lump sum payout of $875,200.

This was the third and final top prize left to be claimed in the $3 Win for Life! game.

As of Wednesday, the New Jersey Lottery has contributed $34.6 billion to the state which is used to help fund a variety of programs and services like the state employee retirement system.
