Bakery Closing Union County Location: See Where
The consolidation will bring the business down to two locations.

CRANFORD, NJ — Cakes, Classes, and Customs are just part of what the Cranford community will be saying goodbye to at the end of 2025 with the closing of "Papa Ganache."
The 100 percent vegan bakery and caterer will be closing its 106 North Union Ave. location on Dec. 28 in what management said is "to strengthen our commitment to exceptional quality and service."
The favorite pies, brownies, and breakfast pastries will continue to be served at their two other locations in Manasquan and Matawan as part of a broader "consolidating" into two locations with the same "full range of your favorites."

Owners Lisa and Anthony Valinoti thanked their loyal customer community for continuing to welcome them into their communities for the last 15 years in a social media post on Monday.
"We appreciate your loyalty and understanding as we take this important step to serve you even better," the co-owners said. "We are excited about what lies ahead, as we already have new projects in the works for 2026."

The chain first welcomed customers to Cranford on Dec. 5, 2020 and has roots that originally began in Matawan in 2010.
Papa Ganache's Cranford location hours will be Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now until Dec. 28.
