Barnes & Noble Opens Union Location On Rt. 22

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ - Calling all book lovers!

The Garden State’s latest location Barnes & Noble is now open on Route 22 in Union Township at the former site of Kid City, town officials said.

Helmed by Union Mayor Manny Figueiredo, committee members Joe Florio and Suzette Cavadas and Sen. Joe Ryan, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday morning. Also in attendance was local author Robert Constant, who was signing copies of his book “Hey Tuskegee!”

The grand opening comes after the closure of a Clark (1180 Raritan Rd.) location in 2022 and a Springfield site in 2023.

Barnes & Noble Union is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s located at 2401 US-22, Suite 1 in the Union Plaza Shopping Center.
