At a Township Committee meeting, Mayor Terrence Curran praised her integrity, regional transit advocacy, and work supporting vulnerable residents, while Kowalski reflected on the honor of serving both Cranford and the county she calls home.
   

• No. 7 Westfield defeats Cranford - Boys ice hockey recap (nj.com subscription) — Cranford’s boys ice hockey team fell 8-0 to seventh-ranked Westfield at Warinanco Ice Center in Roselle, with goalie Noah Martin stopping 17 shots in a tough outing. Westfield’s Andrew Lisnock led the scoring with a hat trick and two assists as Cranford remained winless to start the season.
