Beauty Business Closing After 12 Years In Cranford
"Thank you for sticking with us on this journey," staff says, as they are now looking forward to this "next chapter."
CRANFORD, NJ - Witch Baby Soap on Eastman St. is shutting its retail store after 12 years in business.
Store staff says the decision is a result of economic struggles like tariffs, rent hikes, a 30 percent jump in electricity bills and the removal of parking in front of the store due to construction. They are now focusing their efforts to continuing their sales online.
"With every door that closes, a new one opens," the store's announcement reads. "We will be putting all of the energy and effort that was once put into the physical store into our online store."

Beginning on Black Friday weekend, Witch Baby Soap will offer a local pickup option at the company's manufacturing facility in Roselle Park, located less than two miles from the former Cranford storefront.
They are also holding special online sales over the next few months to help pay for moving, utility costs and the new pickup area.
