According to NJ Cannabis Certified, cannabis jobs are quickly becoming available in New Jersey as existing dispensaries are expanding for the adult-use market and new operators are getting off the ground.

Union College's training also touches on the history of cannabis, the human body's endocannabinoid system, cannabis taxonomy and terminology, as well as how to assist medical marijuana program patients with qualifying conditions.

The NJ Cannabis Certified classes will be held live through Zoom on consecutive Monday evenings beginning Sept. 12 through Oct. 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Students must be 18 years or older to register for this class. Most employment in the cannabis industry will require a successful background check and a minimum age of 21 years of age.

Completion of the course requires attendance during live instruction and submittal of a final quiz at the conclusion of the training. The fee for this program is $500.
